This is a blog about the voyages of Brian and Rose on S.Y. Alixora.  We abandoned work in 2009 having bought Alixora in Scotland and sailed her down to Holyhead where we fitted her out for liveaboard cruising.  We left Holyhead at the end of June 2009, and have been living on Alixora since then.  We crossed the Bay of Biscay and entered the Mediterranean in that year.  Since then we have been cruising the Med, meeting up with fellow cruisers and liveaboards as we travel the “Middle Sea”.

Alixora is a Beneteau 390 single masted sailing yacht built in 1987, so is 25 years old.

This blog was published in Posterous up to December 2012, where the Word documents were displayed as part of the blog.  From March 2013 the Word document will be sent out to our correspondent list, but another version will be posted on WordPress for web viewing.
